Senior Capstone
Through this exhibition of work, I wanted to showcase my storytelling ability with my friends DND characters. They each have a rich and complex background made by the person playing them, so I wanted to convey each one through their own illustration. DND characters have a funny aspect where, intentionally or not, they reflect aspects of the player: strengths, weaknesses, goals, even fears. They become a way to express the player character, so I wanted that let that shine through each.
My friends and the memories I’ve made with them have really shaped who I am today, and I want a way to memorialize those happy moments. I feel through DND and digital illustration I was able to find out more about myself both physically and creatively. So, this showcase exhibits how much I’ve grown as a person and as an artist.
