Children's Book

This page is a children's book I wrote, edited, and illustrated as a part of my High School Senior AP Art project. It is a story about adoption and a mother’s bond with her child with a mother duck caring for a baby chick. I wanted to create a simple, fun narrative that introduced the idea of adoptive families to a younger audience.

As a person of adoption myself, this is a subject matter that is near to my heart and I wanted to create something that other children of adoption could see themselves represented.
